The JeDeCo Summer in the City show will feature work by 12 designers including Jessica Neil and Catherine Marche. The JeDeCo Summer in the City show will feature work by 12 designers including Jessica Neil and Catherine Marche.
The Jewellery Designers’ Collective (JeDeCo) is set to host a pop-up exhibition during Jewellery Week next month called Summer in the City, launching on June 12 and running for five days.
The show will be hosted at Craft Central in London’s Clerkenwell and will feature 12 jewellery designers including Cara Tonkin, Sian Bostwick, Doreth Jones, Catherine Marche and Professional Jeweller Hot 100 NexGem Valeria Calvo, from Trisori.
The Summer in the City showcase will featured work that “evokes the heat, shade, colour and vibrancy of summer life in London”.

A release from JeDeCo said: “The jewellery collections are exquisitely crafted and refreshingly diverse and feature hot colours in mixed media, cool precious metals and stones, the geometry of the city’s skyline, and London’s summer wildlife.”

The designers will also be at the exhibition to meet visitors and talk them through the making of their collections.

A VIP evening will be hosted for the event on June 14.

JeDeCo: are thrilled to be moving in to their first permanent retail space in unit 1.17 of the prestigious Oxo Tower in London Ten of JeDeCo's members, both established and emerging designers, are collaborating in this studio retail space to offer ahead-of-the-trend designs for all jewellery occasions from diamond-set fine jewellery to pieces at the experimental edge of jewellery design.

The multi-award winning designers are Anna Loucah, Annika Burman, Carol Zilla, Catherine Marché, Cindy Dennis Mangan, Debbie Carlton, Doreth Jones, Emma Rose, Rosemary Lucas and Stephanie Bates. Ranging from classically trained to talented self-taught, all have exhibited across the country and now call the Oxo Tower Wharf home. As well as providing a bespoke service for clients, JeDeCo launches its Instant Access service for stylists, providing same-day access to cutting-edge designer jewels for photo shoots and fashion events.
  JeDeCo will throw open their doors to the public on Friday 1st June, with a special VIP night and press launch planned for Tuesday 29th May.

JeDeCo wins bid for space in Oxo Tower

JeDeCo Jewellery Designers’ Collective has won the bid for a prime retail showroom and studio space in London’s Oxo Tower.
The Tower already has a reputation as one of the capital’s top designer jewellery destinations, and from June 1 the JeDeCo Jewellery Showroom will open to the public and unveil 10 eponymous jewellery collections from both established and emerging designer jewellers.

Also launching will be JeDeCo Instant Access, a pre-registered shortlist for stylists wanting same-day access to cutting-edge designer jewels for photo shoots and fashion events.

Among the JeDeCo members collaborating in this studio retail space are Anna Loucah, Cindy Dennis Mangan and Doreth Jones.

Spokesperson and founder Cindy Dennis Mangan said: “JeDeCo has gone from strength to strength as a talented jewellery design business development membership group, and we are proud to have been selected from tough competition to create our first showroom in the Oxo Tower Wharf complex.”

She added: “We look forward to an incredible opening year, celebrating both the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics when the spotlight of the world will be on London’s sporting and creative talent.”

Jewellery design collective JeDeCo is set to open its first retail space in London’s Oxo Tower, close to the Tate Modern and National Theatre, a retail location well regarded for its jewellery and arty boutiques.
The JeDeCo Jewellery Showroom will open on June 1 and will host work by 10 of its established and emerging designer jewellers.
The collective is also using the opening to launch its JeDeCo Instant Access initiative - a pre-registered shortlist for stylists wanting same-day access to designer jewels for photo shoots and fashion events.

The designers set to sell in the space include award-winning designers Anna Loucah and Cindy Dennis Mangan and emerging silver designer Doreth Jones. Annika Burman, Catherine Marche, Emma Rose and Stephanie Bates will also showcase their work.
JeDeCo’s founder Cindy Dennis Mangan said: "JeDeCo has gone from strength to strength as a talented jewellery design business development membership group, and we are proud to have been selected amongst tough competition to create our first showroom in the Oxo Tower Wharf complex.
